Fordyb dig i Astanga Yoga, og få mere klarhed, forståelse, indsigt og færdigheder på vores in-debt workshops.
Gå i detaljer med hvordan du udfører de forskellige asana (yoga stillinger). Hvordan vejrtrækning præcist skal koordineres med de enkelte bevægelser, ind ud af stillingerne (vinyasa), og hvilke trin du kan tage, når du arbejder i udfordrende stillinger.
Du lærer om hvordan du bevæger dig ind og ud af stillingerne og skaber stabilitet, dybde, lethed, fokus og den bedst mulige positionering i forhold til din krop og evner. Du får teknisk og taktisk information om hvordan du bevæger dig, står, sidder og går dybere i forskelligeyogastillinger på en smart og intelligent måde.
Du lærer også hvordan Astanga passer ind i den større sammenhæng af læren, indsigten og oplevelsen af yoga, og gør denne unikke yoga til en dyb indre praksis.
Alle niveauer er velkommen, også hvis du ikke har nogen erfaring med Astanga. Workshops bliver afholdt på Dansk, eller Engelsk, hvis der deltagere, der ikke taler dansk.

Immerse yourself in Astanga Yoga and deepen your knowledge, understanding and skills on our in-debt workshops!
The purpose of the workshops is to provide clarity and understanding about how Astanga is practiced. You will also gain insight and experience with the essential elements that define Astanga yoga, making it a deep inner practice. You will gain a deeper understanding of the structure and way of practicing this unique method.
At the workshops, we will go into detail with how to perform the various asanas (yoga poses). How breathing must be coordinated with the individual movements, in and out of the poses (vinyasa), and what steps you can take when working in challenging postures.
You learn how to move in and out of the poses and how to create stability, depth, ease, focus and optimal positioning according to your body and capabilities. You get technical and tactical information about how to move, stand, sit and go deeper into different yoga poses in a smart and intelligent way.
We will also look at how Astanga fits into the larger context of the teaching, insight and experience of yoga.
Astanga yoga is an amazingly beautiful journey that develops and shapes the practitioner on all areas of life. However, there are no shortcuts in Astanga, the process requires time and work. However, the result is invaluable. For those embarking on this journey, the workshops can provide clarity and understanding of which route is most useful to follow on this path towards health and understading.
Note. Workshops are held in Danish, or English if there are participants who do not speak Danish. All levels are welcome, even if you have no experience with Astanga.

I denne workshop tager vi et dybt dyk ned i de kerneelementer, der danner rammerne for oplevelsen af Astanga praksis – åndedræt, bandha, dhristhi og Asana. Alt det, der gør den til en specifik, indre praksis. Det er én ting at vide, hvad disse ord betyder, og en anden ting at have en oplevelse af dem.~ English ~

Astanga primer – the basics!
In this workshop we take a deep dive into the core elements that provide the framework for the experience of the Astanga practice - breath, bandha, dhristhi and Asana. Everything that makes it distinct and a deep, inner practice. It’s one thing to know what these words mean, and another to have an experience of them.
This fundamental way to be mindful and move, that incorporates the timeless wisdom and methodology of yoga, into a psychical practice, is what makes the practice so unique and intense.
The workshop is a blend of theory and practice and is recommended for anyone interested in going into the inner core of Astanga yoga, and find focus, easy pace and depth in their practice and thus have an actual experience of it.
Appropriate for all levels of practitioner, even if you have no experience with Astanga. Workshops are held in Danish or English, if there are participants who do not speak Danish.

Solhilsen - bevæg dig med åndedrættet
Lær at udføre solhilsen med lethed og flow
Solhilden A har 6 stillinger og 9 vinyasa, solhilsen B har 8 stillinger og 17 vinyasa. Disse stillinger og måden at komme ind og ud af dem på, er fundamentet i Astanga yoga. Men hvor godt kender du dem og hvordan kædes stillingerne og bevægelserne sammen med åndedrættet, så det flyder i uanstrengt flow. På denne mini workshop gennemgår vi alle stillingerne og ser på metoder til at få kædet sekvenserne sammen, så der opstår flow og lethed i udøvelsen.~ English ~

Salutations – move with the breath
Do Sun Salutations with flow and ease!
Sun salutation A has 6 poses and 9 vinyasas, sun salutation B has 2 more poses and 17 vinyasas. These poses and the way to get into and out of them, are at the core of the Astanga practice. But how to link the poses and movements with the breath, so it flows in an effortless way?
In this workshop we will work systematically through the movements in Sun Salutations. We will look at the details of the different poses, practice synchronizing breath and movement, and methods to link the sequences together, so that flow and ease arise in the practice.
Appropriate for all levels of practitioner, even if you have no experience with Astanga. Workshops are held in Danish or English, if there are participants who do not speak Danish.

I Astanga yoga er de stående stillinger det grundlag, der opbygger styrke, balance og stabilitet. I de stående stillinger lærer du at balancere, finde kernestyrke og forbinde dig til jorden, mens du rækker, strækker og vrider kroppen. Vi ser på hvordan du kan finde mere lethed, komfort og stabilitet og god jordforbinder ved hjælp af god positioneringsteknik, åndedræt og bandhas.~ English ~

Stability, strength and balance
Standing with grace and strength!
In the Astanga yoga practice the standing poses are the foundation of the practice that builds strength, balance and stability. In these poses you learn to balance, find core strength and connect to the ground while reaching, stretching and twisting the body. We look at ways of finding ease, comfort and stability while connection to the ground using good positioning technique, breath and bandhas.
The strength from the practice comes with time. As with any discipline, steadfast effort and enthusiasm help to move us on the path. Keeping in mind that the physicality of this practice opens doors for strengthening a positive and encouraging self-dialogue, and our ability to observe and witness our mind.
Appropriate for all levels of practitioner, even if you have no experience with Astanga. Workshops are held in Danish or English, if there are participants who do not speak Danish.

Eskil Schilling
Eskil is dedicated to teaching the astanga yoga tradition from SYC Sharath Yoga Center in Mysore (formerly K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute - KPJAYI), which he has cultivated with great passion and intensity continuously since 1999. He started his spiritual journey in 1990 practicing daily meditation, pranayama, japa and hatha yoga, and intense studies of Indian mysticism and yoga philosophy. He taught Ashanga first time in 2006 and has since 2011 annually traveled to Mysore, India, on month-long stays, to immerse himself in his yoga practice under the guidance of his teacher Paramguru (lineage holder) Sharath Jois. He is a authorized level 2 teacher from the Institute in Mysore. Together with his good friend and astanga enthusiast Robin Arnold, he opened the Astanga Yoga Studio in 2009, where he teaches daily Mysore classes for diligent practitioners of astanga yoga.
